Introducing our New E-Book

Our new e-book, U.S. Crisis: Arts, Education and Society exposes frustrations and concerns about deep problems common to U.S. educational institutions, the arts, and society. The book does not present an exhaustive definition but rather a sincere exchange of provocative ideas freely identifying characteristics of worsening public attitudes towards the arts and a systemic deterioration of education. We maintain that these depreciations of value are caused by society itself and magnified and diffused by its masses.

Our philosophical positions are charged and illuminated with anecdotes drawn from extended careers in music and music education in secondary and post-secondary institutions. The criticisms, herein, can readily find broad application across all disciplines. We present an exposé of the degeneration of educational quality commonly known within the halls of United States’ schools but rarely discussed publicly. Assuming education, the arts and society are reflections of each another, dynamic and dissonant criticism provides grist for the mill inviting readers to initiate thoughtful dialogue about whether or not the values promoted in education, the arts and, thus, society are consistent with the best our country can be.

The book will be available soon!
